Many technology manufacturers such as Samsung, Dell, LG Electronics and Toshiba are following the example of Apple and the addition of Tablet PCs to its line of devices. This sets out a number of launches in 2010 to compete with Apple iPad great success.
The Apple iPad has a 9.7 inch screen, weighs a kilo and a half and has a battery that lasts up to 10 hours. There are 25,000 applications, especially designed to run on the iPad. The IPAD is also capable of running the 200,000 applications designed for iPhone and iPod Touch. More than 100 new features will be available with the soon to be released iOS4, including multiple tasks, folders, and printing.
Samsung Galaxy Tab
Samsung Galaxy tab, on sale in European markets in September 2010, uses Google’s Android software. It has a 7 inch screen and is about the size of a paperback, so it is half the size of the Apple iPad. It is light and weighs only 13.8 ounces. Galaxy tab has two SIM card slots and a MicroSD card. The keyboard layout is similar to but much smaller IPAD. Allows the thumb to write when it held in portrait orientation. Android labor market applications tab. Samsung has done it again some of them, including the calendar, email, and music, so they make better use of the larger screen, but most of the available applications were designed for Smartphone. Dell’s streak is only 6 inches wide and 3.1-inches, making it larger than a smartphone, but much smaller than Apple iPad. The screen 5-inch scratch-resistant glass offers a high quality display of multi-touch crystal clear. The line is a 3G phone that also supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth includes a camera, touch screen, and memory expandability. The Android-based tablet gives users access to dozens of Android Market applications, games and widgets.
