I followed these links and found, that you don’t actually have to pay to get cool Twitter backgrounds. I found many web pages, which also offer cool and interesting design for Twitter and you can get them for free.

@Martin, thanks for the links…thos are well known free resources for acceptable quality of twitter backgrounds and they may satisfy many twitter users. However, there are some individuals and companies that will prefere custom twitter background designed to match their brand or needs.

I’ve played around with re-doing ours and using a background like they do above, but didn’t have that much time to burn. These are great for ideas though and I’ll try and do a better job on mine next time around. Mine’s a joke compared to this.
I like the 2nd one from the top the best. It flows better.
